Still Going Strong

Man I am so tired from Saturday, but I cannot stop there. Think I am going to walk off my fun...I have been going to classes and last week I went to Monday's Cardio Dance, Thursday's Hip Hop, and Saturday's Hip Hop. Saturday was also a wind down day and I celebrated getting my Masters!

It has been 3 weeks and I have been staying at 190. I started Advocare for energy, but it is also supposed to be a way to boost workout also. I will find this out later on this week. Toodles Blog World on a mission have to clear my mind.

Man I did the math wrong. I started at 210. I am now 190 pounds. I dropped 20 pounds in like three months! I'm so excited!

Lost 2 Lbs.

Man I feel good! I'm still hurting, but I am glad to say that my sick week and my busy week with Dena'a Wedding and Sabrina's birth are over! I also lost 2 pounds last week...so that makes about 16 pounds total since August! I know that may sound so miniscule, but it is the small steps to success that is going to get me where I need to be. It could be more, but I would like my inches to show in addition to the pounds lost. Oh well no pain no gain!

Body Hurts

Yesterday I did two hours...three different classes...and now my body is in pain. But I finally got one of the things I wanted. My family recognized my progress. The most rewarding was my father. It was like a sigh of relief. My dad is a personal trainer that just makes it that much more valuable for me. Although I have been sleeping more the pain is still there. Oh well I will not be stopped now that I know the key to my success is dance and people.

I am down to 196 pounds. I recheck my weight tomorrow. I wonder if I have lost those three pounds. Taking it one day at a time here.

2011 A New Year...A New Me

I say this even though the year is almost over. I have joined a gym and this time quitting is not in my future. I found my nitch that I lost. The one thing that keeps me going is...get this...dancing. I knew I liked dancing when I was out there in the clubs, but once that wore off I did not know where to get my groove fix. I have found it and almost overdosing on it. Cardio Dance and Hip Hop is making me a music machine. Unfortunately, it is taking its toll on my knees and calves. So I think that if I throw a wrench in my routine I can still feel the rhythm and see some results.

Right now I am 200. I lost a total of 10 pounds...where I do not know because my clothes still don't fit, but I am going to go shopping for some comfortable pants that will slim with me. Not tight but the ones that I can take in...around the waist area anyway.

I just turned 28 and I am getting closer and closer to that 30 mark. The point where your body changes and is slow to slim. I need to get some act right and if I have to dance it away I will.
